Pear & Ginger Crepes

Not only are these crepes quick and easy to prepare, but they are also utterly delicious and make an impressive breakfast or dessert. Use either our Double Love Sweet Crepes or Ooh La La Gluten Free Crepes.

Method

In a heavy-bottomed frying pan over a medium-high heat melt the butter and sugar together then add in the pears, cinnamon stick and the ginger. Fry until the pear slices are golden then flip and repeat on the other side. Do this in batches if your pan isn’t big enough.

Arrange two crepes on each plate, spread each one with a layer of mascarpone then scatter over the chocolate. Fold the crepes into quarters then tuck the pear slices inside the crepes. Dot the top of each crepe with a little extra mascarpone then top with a slice of pear. Drizzle over the pan juices then scatter with some more chocolate before serving.
