

French Toast Pancakes
We've elevated French Toast to a whole new level with our limited-edition Maple Pancakes. Soft, fluffy pancakes coated in cinnamon sugar, paired with creamy ice cream and berries. Perfect for breakfast, brunch, dinner, or dessert!
Ingredients
Serves 2
4 tablespoons sugar
½ teaspoon cinnamon
1 egg
3 tablespoons milk
1 x packet Marcel’s Maple Pancakes
Butter or ghee for cooking the pancakes
Vanilla bean ice cream to serve
Berries to serve
Method
Put 3 tablespoons of the sugar and cinnamon into a shallow dish and mix, then set aside. Put the remaining tablespoon of sugar into another shallow dish along with the egg and milk, whisk well.
Heat a knob of butter or ghee in a heavy-bottomed frying pan then place a pancake into the egg mixture, move it around a little so that it soaks up the mixture then flip and repeat on the other side. Put the pancake into the pan and repeat with the rest of the pancakes - cooking on one side until golden before flipping and repeating on the other side. Once golden remove from the pan and put straight into the cinnamon sugar mix, scooping the sugar with a spoon and pressing it all over the pancakes. If your pancakes have a good layer of butter over them then the sugar mixture will stick better.
Take two small plates and put a pancake onto each. Top with a bit of ice cream then put on another pancake followed by some more ice cream. Put the last pancake on the stack then add on a little more ice cream followed by some berries. Serve immediately.
