Candied Apple Pancakes

There's no better way to put apples to use!


  • 4 - 6 Marcel's Happy Pancakes

  • 2 apples

  • 1 tbsp butter

  • 3 tbsp pure maple syrup

  • 2 scoops vanilla ice cream

  • Extra maple syrup to drizzle


Cut the apples into quarters, cut out the cores, and slice each quarter into 3 - 4 wedges. Melt butter in a skillet over a medium to high heat. When butter is bubbling add the apples and cook for 5 minutes until tender and beginning to brown, turning several times during cooking. Add the maple syrup and cook until caramelised and sticky, about 30 seconds. Spoon candied apples onto pancakes, and top with a scoop of vanilla ice cream and a drizzle of maple syrup. Enjoy!
